Clicking through the activity log month by month is very cumbersome. The ability to simply use a list view would be very helpful in managing activity logs, allowing older activities to be quickly located and logs to be audited for accuracy and completeness quickly and efficiently.
@RobertKelly4 - there is an activity log report and an activity log export
That is true, but I still think having to go to one place to generate a report and then go back and manually find the relevant activity to edit it is significantly more clunky than it should be. It should be very simple to click list view directly in the Activity Logs.
@RobertKelly4 - how would one audit an activity entry ?
Simply checking for accuracy. For example, I noticed my kid had an absurd number of service hours, so I went looking at where they came from and found a service project with a typo in the number of hours. Or things like mistakenly assigning everyone in the unit to an outing when not everyone was present. If you suspect an issue, you might want to flip back over the previous activities, but this would be much easier if they could be viewed in a single list rather than having to select one month at a time. It seems like a very simple feature to implement.
@RobertKelly4 - define the parameters of this list view. Just a list of all log entries from the beginning including entries made by scouts without any month or year selection? A list of all entries blocked by year? Just unit entries. Just scout entries?
Beyond any of that i wonder what a dynamic activity log list would do to server performance.
