An easy way to find out who is missing Date Joined Scouts BSA is to run an OA Eligibility Report. It will indicate those with missing dates.

I am also having a similar problem. All my Scouts have “Date Joined Scouts BSA” populated. If you run an OA eligibility report you get the correct number of camping nights. If you look in individual activities you can see each scout recorded there correctly. But if you run a custom activity report where you select “Camping Log” as the activity the report is missing some of the Scouts. I only noticed this recently (perhaps past month or so May/June 2023).

Hi Jennifer - I’m seeing the same issue. Scout ID 132056125, has a date joined scouts BSA of 11/01/2020. Not showing up on any activity reports (I’m running for 2021 - present). but when I look at his camping log in internet explorer, it shows all the trips (6/16/23, 4/21/23 are two examples)

Hi, I also met the same issue when generating report for our troop. These two scouts are missing when “current members only” is checked (which is by default). Can someone help fix the join date for the following scouts from Troop 677?

Any unit admin or Key 3/Key 3 delegate should be able to edit the scout’s profile information to add/correct the date joined Scouts BSA. Is that not working for y’all?

Make sure all Scouts have a Date Joined Scouts BSA set in their profiles.

Go to the Scout’s page, click Edit Profile then click on the date joined field in the upper left corner.

I misread the report. Actually only one scout has this issue: 133631859. He already had a join date as 05/01/2021. But his name is not on the group report when members only is checked.

Out of curiosity, what is the start date on the report? Is it before or after the date joined for the missing scout?

I’m running a report starting from 1/1/2023, until today. The missing scout’s join date is 5/1/2021. Another scout with the same join date was listed fine in the report.

@JenniferOlinger , can you help take a look at this issue? A scout whose join date is 5/21/2021 is not showing in the activity report starting from 1/1/2023.

If I run the activity report with current members only checked, it is missing MANY members that are current. These members do appear when the current members is not checked. These members do have Date Joined BSA set. Is this a known issue? Is there a workaround?

@DonovanMcNeil not sure. First thought is if the scouts are registered with multiple units. Then there is the question of possible scouts with multiple accounts. We would need examples of scouts missing (MID only) and if you can perhaps look at those two things since I don’t have that visibility.

And URLs for Reports are usually better data for team

@AndrewGoldstein also the code at the very bottom of the report (starts with PD) is extremely useful in troubleshooting if you can post that as well.

Missing from the Current Members report is BSA IDs: 12615285, 128238900, 129788207. These scouts all showed up on reports until 5/29/2023, not since then.

Missing from both report is: 129788507, 131055818, 14904558, 128238870

@AndrewGoldstein an update that was being worked on by the developers was just pushed out this afternoon. If possible, can you re-run the report and see if this has fixed the issue that you were having? If not, please again post the details of the report ref: number and the parameters and which scouts you feel are missing from the report. Thanks!

Issue appears resolved.

Thank you. Updating all of the “Date to ScoutsBSA” fixed most of the issues that I had thanks to inputs on separate inquiry but I think there was still one that was problematic. I will rerun as you suggest and see if anyone is missing!
