Add more available positions to Unit Outdoors / Activities Chair

Dear Forums,

Would you please consider adding additional positions for the Unit Outdoors / Activities Chair.

Presently. SB+ only allows one person for the position. We, and other units, have more than one person that work together in this role.

Currently, the unit Key 3 can set a variety of permissions for another registered scouter to emulate the relevant access. That way, the unit can continue operating as needed while national considers the request. My guess is that they’re unlikely to make a change, but I don’t have any bearing on the decision, so I could easily be wrong.

@MichaelBenaitis- to have any changes like that you would have to get your local council present it to national. Your method is not how committee structure is supposed to be applied.

IF I recall - Unit Outdoors / Activities Chair. - existed long before SB+ and has always been one place. If needed that would be a push for a council to change

We have had two in that position for the past year until the position assignments were changed from Sb to SB+. I’ll take your advice and reach out to council.

Well in LEgacy SB many positions where fake - you could add any registered Scouter into any unit for any position - you could have 23 scoutmasters in one troop.

The Outdoor Chair is a true Functional Position in my.scouting.org. So it was set as 1 position way before Scoutbook+.
