Adult leader error in scoutbook

I have an adult leader that doesn’t have an email address. When I add one it tells me there is another account with that email address, but when I search I only find that one account.

How can this be corrected?

This record has his childhood address and phone number when he was a scout himself. I need to update everything but can only do it with adding an email address.

I have a new problem with adding this leader. He accepted the invitation and reset his password, but Scoutbook will not let him and gives him the error “The my.Scouting password was not valid. Please try again.”

Does he need to reset the password again?
