I am custodial parent to my son. His mother is still showing as having access, yet I am unable to see or add events to his records. I am fully trained for all my positions including the new youth safety program. If I try to add an event, I see there needs to be another parent added, and that I can not get to the records. His mother left the family, we are filing for divorce. I am financially responsible for him. Fortunately we were able to re-register before I was locked out. This should not be a forum matter, there should be some way to handle this privately. The key 3 have been unable to resolve this, nor has my council.
The unit Key 3 can associate your account with your scout’s by clicking on the plus sign in the Relationships box on your scout’s profile in SB+ (advancements.scouting). They will need information about your account (registered Member ID, Last Name and DOB). Your council registrar can add the relationship directly in their registrar tools, again as long as they have your Member ID. This is not something that the forum volunteers can do for you.
If council can’t figure out how to do this, they can submit a MemberCare ticket to national. Escalating things to national is something only council professional staff can do, so there’s no way for the volunteers here, your unit leadership, or you to do it.
