Welcome! This forum has a treasure trove of great info – Scouters helping Scouters! Just a heads up, though - all content, information, and opinions shared on this forum are those of the author, not the BSA.
I spent the summer adding all of our events and ensured that auto-add was on. Now it’s the start of the year, and we’ve got lots of new scouts and parents, but the auto-add feature did not work.
It seems like this bug has been happening for a bit and may have been thought to be resolved, so bringing it back up as still an issue. Reference threads:
Pack 662 GNYC,
Sep Pack Meeting - Event ID 7139753
Here is this month’s Pack meeting that I’ve corrected, showing 62 youth. The roster has 64, but 2 are marked opt-out, so they get counted at the bottom; I can’t screenshot it because of the names in it.
Youth IDs that are missing from the second event. It looks like the Oct event did not pick up the two that were listed as dropping in Sep, so this list is 9 rather than 7.
Hopefully this is reasonably helpful in diagnosing. This problem is very tough because we have sub-unit calendars, which means each den meeting has 6 events, with all of them already scheduled through June 120+ events to go in and click “add all” to, and if someone joins later in the year, we do it again.
I meant to add, but forgot because I haven’t had coffee yet… Thanks in advance to the volunteer support crew for looking into this and flagging to developers where appropriate!
there is no public log and Scouting America IT does not release schedules. Watch the Scoutbook - Scoutbook Plus Change Log - Scouting Forums for an announcement of the fix.
