BSA General Hiking requirements

Is there a general hiking requirement for BSA?

@JasonFuruta - requirements as in what ? Left foot before right…what exactly are you looking for?

For Tenderfoot they relate to understanding how to be safe on the trail. Other than that, there no longer is any requirement to hike, that I see.

Second class has a 5 mile hike - if that is what you are asking
Hiking Merit Badge has some hiking of course
and Camping Merit Badge has potential for hiking

I think those would be the 3 potential times for minimum Eagle requirements if that is what you are asking
