Last week I used the feature to merge the two BSA IDs associated to me. After that now I can’t make any updates to my pack or troop on Scoutbook Plus. When I go to Permissions Manager for my pack, there is a message next to my account that says “Position/Roles expired”. My troop Chairman sees the same thing when accessing Permissions Manager for the Troop. What’s going on?
BTW, when the merge was done, the ID that remained was the one that was created when I worked as a volunteer in Philmont back in May.
@AnthonyBonilla currently - the MID that survives is the one with the latest registration actions on it. Your K3D position is odd, you can ask PRC Council if they CAN see it and if they can do anything. I will also report this in for you.
This is one of many reasons SUAC does not advise merging MIDs at this point.
On my.scouting I see all my roles as active through December 31, 2026 for Cubmaster, Troop Committee Member, Troop ASM, and National Camp Staff.
yes but you have a functional role of K3D for the pack (which is unneeded cause you are a key3 Cubmaster) that is in Renewal.
How can that role be removed? Local Council doesn’t know what’s going on and also for some reason can’t seem to pull my account.
If they cannot see it - I would have them send in a National Membercare ticket saying " the Key3 Delegate Position for Pack 543 for (Member#) needs to be erased and off the record"
