Calendar Location URL Too Long Workaround

There is a workaround for the 50 character limit in the new Calendar URL.

In Google Maps, click the image icon to generate a shorter URL that will fit within the 50 character limit. Copy this URL and use that in the calendar.

The developers are aware the 50 character limit is too short but this will get you past the issue until it is fixed.
