My Scoutmaster is indicating that a) parents and/or scouts are being dropped/not getting RSVP notices and reaching out to him to be able to RSVP, and b) when he went back in to see what happened, Scouts, some of whom have been with our troop for years (so “Auto Add” should not have been a factor) were not part of the invite pool.
I am also noticing this for other future events. For example, I just looked at Summer Camp for my girl’s unit and noticed “Current Youth = 24” despite having “All Youth - Current” checked and “Auto Add - Future” as well.
First guess would be when initially made some scouts were not added by the user making the event. So I understand - there are 36 Scouts in the G Troop. But on Events 24 are invited?
To clarify - if a scout is left off an event to start - the system would not add them to it automatically - unless they were new to the unit - you saying the scouts are old is confusing
I made the event for summer camp as well as other things. I did “Add All Current Youth” and “Auto Add”. I even went through to make the RSVPs were working.
Scouts are getting dropped. Outright dropped.
Two of the Scouts have been in the unit for 4 years (September 1, 2023). I have attached proof the Scouts (sisters) were in fact members of this troop through the entire process. I redacted my unit number.
So, can’t explain it, but I am going back through to do manual updates and adds.
OK looking at their records, and then asking DEVs, I get it - do not like it - but get it.
There is a bug in calendar (SUAC had not heard of) where the system is viewing Sub-units as units. So when you changed them from X patrol - to Hydra patrol, the calendar event thought they left the unit (not sure if this is cause they where out of patrol for one day, or if it was just the patrol change). A Developer has it on their queue to resolve, but they also have other national tickets there too. I tagged the story saying it needs attention.
