Cannot log camping activity from a calendar event

I believe am experiencing the same as this person: SB+ won’t let me add a camping activity from within a calendared event, because it rejects the day/night totals.

It makes no difference if the camping activity is “all day” or if I shorten the number of days/nights.

How to reproduce

  • Create a calendar Event for a campout from Sep 18th p.m. through Sep. 20th a.m.
  • Add a few attendees
  • Go to that Event’s details from the calendar (e.g., advancements.scouting.org/calendar/event/...)
  • Edit Event
  • Scroll down and Add Camping
  • See that the Groups tab has populated 3 days and 2 nights
  • Click ADD CAMPING and see that all days and nights (youth and adult) error with “Cannot exceed total days/nights”

@MichaelPomraning - known issue and reported. Watch the change log for when it is fixed.

You can enter it via the activity log and link back to the event that way and get the days/nights as you want them

Thanks. Is there a known issues listing I should check first?

Unfortunately, Scouting America IT does not provide a public one, apparently per national policy. The only way for a user to check is to search the forums for similar issues.
