I am trying to log our Cub Scout campout attendance, Saturday to Sunday, and it says my nights cannot exceed total nights. I’m only entering 1 night.
Is the event set up wrong?
What happens if you change the number of days to 2? Saturday + Sunday = 2 days
You cannot have 1 night with only 1 day. By definition, if you are staying overnight you have 2 days.
When I had it at 2 days it threw the same error for days as well as nights
Are you saying 2 days, 1 night failed?
Yes. That was the default and I hit submit and it errored
Any thoughts? Is there an alternative way to record camping?
@PeterSymonds - I was able to add camping via the activity log section rather than via the calendar
OK, Per answers at Cannot log camping activity from a calendar event this is a known issue with the calendar, awaiting a bug fix.
I’m not able to add anything on activity logs? I can only see the existing events, I don’t see any buttons to add anything there.
Edit: I can for cubs, because I’m COR, but I cannot as the Advancement Chair for Scouts. I can track activity only through the calendar, so apparently I need to ask a Key 3 to grant me log access for the workaround for this bug.
@PeterSymonds - is the troop in the same charter org? If so your position would be COR.
Unfortunately, no… I have a request in to Key3 delegate who manages permissions.
