Cannot remove a user from Scoutbook Plus

I’ve got a user who transferred to another troop. User ID 132669831. I can’t see him in My.Scouting, I can’t see him in Old Scoutbook, but he still shows up in Scoutbook Plus. Since he is no longer in the troop, I can’t edit his membership at all. Permission error. Shouldn’t he be dropped from Scoutbook Plus? He’s dropped from my view elsewhere so I’m not sure why he’s showing up here.

@NancyLin do you mean Member ID? for a CH? that scout is still registered in T141. if they have left you can click the Not renewing in SB+ and opt them out immediatly

Might the new troop not have processed the transfer? If the original troop marks him as not renewing, would that create an issue for the new troop?

No. I’m not in T141. That’s his new troop. His old troop is T737. That’s why it’s weird. Cuz he is dropped from our roster in My Scouting and old Scoutbook. But for some reason he isn’t dropped from Scoutbook Plus. I know it takes a month sometimes. But I figure he should be dropped by now if I can’t see him in My Scouting.

Also, as I mentioned, I can’t do anything with this user ID. I can’t edit him in any way including opting him out. It throws me an error message.

@NancyLin I think the issue is that you are still connected to the Scout.

Try this: In Scoutbook (legacy), go to:

Troop Roster → Connections Manager
Scroll down, and then click on “Clean Old Connections”

But I can’t see this scout in Scoutbook Legacy!

@NancyLin where do you see the scout exactly? MAybe a screenshot of it?

@NancyLin If you cleaned old connections, but the Scout is still showing up in Scoutbook Plus, then it might be a cache issue. Try a hard page reload in Scoutbook Plus.

I have done that many times. I have logged in from various places so I know cache isn’t the issue here.
