Cannot see adult in Unit Roster, need to add as Committee Member and allow messaging permissions

Hello,

A committee member (ID 133380878) is showing as a connected parent to two scouts in our troop, but is not in our roster. They cannot currently send messages via Scoutbook and we need to grant her this access as she coordinates health forms and fundraisers and is a committee member. I cannot find a way to add her as a committee member or find where I can grant her messaging permissions. Thank you!

@BillCampolo - are they listed on the roster at my.scouting.org ? If they are not they will need to submit an adult application to register as a leader.

@BillCampolo that users position ended 12/31/25 - they would need to reapply to the unit

Thank you both for quick responses. I am checking with the adult to have them re-apply.

I think in the 12 months after a registration expires there is some new easier process - you might want to ask council
