Welcome! This forum has a treasure trove of great info – Scouters helping Scouters! Just a heads up, though - all content, information, and opinions shared on this forum are those of the author, not the BSA.
I have a Lion Scout. I’m the Den leader. My wife is also a connected adult.
I cannot enter completion of adventure requirements as Den Leader. My wife also cannot enter anything as completed as a connected adult
I was able to mark off the “How to Protect Your Children From Child Abuse: A Parent’s Guide” as complete. Attached is a screenshot. When I click any of the adventures on this page (required or electives), it sends me back to my dashboard. I do not have this issue when entering my son’s requirements. Only for my Lion.
Unfortunately, no. The BSA disabled private messaging for regular folks. One of the mods (likely an SUAC member) will need to initiate a PM session with you to obtain any personal information they might need to help resolve the question.
The first thing I would try is going to your connection to this scout, and check what permissions you have (e.g. Edit Advancement, Full Control) to see if you should have access. If you do have the right permissions, try refreshing your leader position. In Scoutbook, are you a Unit Admin, a Den Admin, or just a Den Leader? Each one carries different levels of default access with it.
