Hi - Citizenship in Society is still shown on the Eagle Scout Rank application. It was discontinued and is no longer required. Citizenship in Society Merit Badge Discontinuance | Scouting America

@JohnLeed_III it is more complex than that. The Eagle app that appears depends on the version of Eagle Rank the Scout is on. Is this scout on the Eagle Version 2026?

Yes. I tried it with two of my Life Scouts, both now set to v2026. 133380466 didn’t start CiS, 133027932 started but didn’t complete.

If they are set to 2026 Eagle version - a few questions.

  1. Where are you getting the Eagle application? from Scout Profile > SB+ > Eagle Rank?
  2. Have you tried an Incognito Window - it kind of sounds like a cache issue with wrong link

Interestingly, the application is the January 2026 revision and has a field for parent information again.
