I saw there have been requests to declare a limit to the number of RSVPs for an event. Another useful option would be to allow someone to stop allowing new RSVPs while preserving the RSVPs that are there. I suspect that might be easier to implement than max numbers.

There is an item in the backlog to add a date when RSVP closes. We do not know if or when this will be scheduled for development.
