Connecting my scout to her account

We signed her up for a scoutbook account before I realized I should have just sent her an invitation from my parent/leader account. She was assigned a random, new BSA member number and ID number and now I can’t send her an invitation because her email is already used on an account. We can’t remove the email or delete the account.

Does that mean we need to merge the new account to the existing account?
Her correct BSA member number is 136150047, ID 9824247

The new, useless BSA member number is 14264151, ID 12461503
