Can a cubmaster also be the pack treasurer?

The cubmaster already holds a lot of intensive responsibilities. Someone else should do the money management.

More formally, the treasurer is typically considered one of the committee members and the CM cannot also hold a committee position of responsibility. In addition, the CM being the treasurer weakens some of the outside protections against mismanagement of funds. If the cm has to get spending approved by a separate person it encourages better accountability. And as mentioned above, both of these are busy positions.

No, it is not allowed. One cannot register as the Cubmaster and a member of the committee. The only dual role person can be the Chartered Org Rep who can also be a member of the committee. Besides, it isn’t a good idea as the other person pointed out. The CM is in charge of program, the committee does the organization side.
