My son completed the Personal Fitness Merit Badge in May. He was awarded it, but for some reason it is showing up twice. Our local council made a post about it here with no resolution and it was closed. We removed the assigned merit badge counselor and I also unawarded the badge and tried to remove all the checked completed boxes. It won’t let me uncheck all the boxes even though I am Key 3 as the committee chair. If I make any changes on one badge, it automatically makes changes to the duplicate badge. It is like they are linked. The issue is the computer is double counting the merit badge for rank and for rank requirements. It listed 42 badges complete instead of the actual number being 41.
If you post the scout’s member ID (no names, please!), the SUAC can investigate. Without that, there’s no way for them to look into it.

You mean mark the badge completed and awarded back to the May date and re-assign the counselor again? Because anything I do in one badge, duplicates into the second badge.
