Hi team!
I have a leader/adult (140500387) that has an alternate profile that shouldn’t exist. It has the same email address tied to both. We cannot figure out how to delete it.
How do I/we address this?
Thanks!
Steve

@StephenLambert_II She has 2 usernames at my.scouting:
One is part of her last name plus her first and middle initials.
The other is her e-mail address.
Which one would she like to keep?
Also, I would recommend having your local council use their Registrar Tools to look up her children. In the “Relationships” section, they should make sure that she is listed as a parent only under BSA 140500387. They should remove her if she is listed as a parent under any other numbers. Otherwise, her BSA member numbers might get switched at Recharter.
Hello @JenniferOlinger.
140500387 is connected to her 3 children in our pack and is the one to keep. The other account is only connected to one, and that the duplicate account that needs retired/deleted.
We can attach either number to either my.scouting.org ID and get all the Scouts attached to the same Scoutbook account. We need to know which my.scouting.org ID she wishes to keep.
Hi team. She wishes to keep: 140500387
That is a BSA Member ID. We need to know which my.scouting.org ID she wants to keep, the one that is part of her last name plus first and middle initials or the one that is her e-mail address.
Once we know which my.scouting.org ID she wants to keep, we will deal with issues with the BSA Member IDs.
The parent would like to use the email address, please.
@StephenLambert_II The parent / child Relationships that I am referring to are at my.scouting – not Scoutbook.
Your local council should use their Registrar Tools and look up her children. In the “Relationships” section, she should only be listed as parent under BSA 140500387. They should remove her if she is listed a parent under any other BSA member numbers. If this doesn’t happen, it is likely that her BSA member numbers will get switched at Recharter, and this will probably create new Scoutbook accounts for her.
I have retired the other username. She should log in with her e-mail address as her username.
