Editing a Patrol; Invalid request - “parentUserIds” is not allowed

When attempting to add scouts to a patrol, no matter how I do it (e.g. Edit the Patrol, or hover over the patrol icon in the list and click Add to Patrol). When I click Save, I get the following error.

I am the Committee Chair for my Troop. I should have permissions according to the documentation.

This is affecting me. It may be affecting the other Key 3 members, but I cannot confirm.

I am working on an iPad Pro M1. I tried in both Safari and Chrome in incognito mode.

First, you are already a Key 3 so you don’t need a Key 3 Delegate functional role. I would use Permissions Manager to remove K3D. This could be causing a conflict.

I will report this issue to the developers.

I’m experiencing the same issue. I’m the Scoutmaster. I’m able to create new Patrols, but I can’t add Scouts to the Patrols without getting the “parentUserIds” error.

The problem was solved when my COR removed me from “Key 3 Delegate”
