Family being prompted for Scoutbook invitation

Scoutbook Using Scoutbook & Scoutbook Plus

I have a family attempting to allow their Scout to access his Scoutbook Plus account. They have created a user name and password in my.scouting. However, when they attempt to log into Scoutbook Plus, he is being prompted for an invitation code.

Any solution or guidance?

@JamieDunn1 Please post the Scout’s member ID number (MID).

(No names, please.)

Initial thought is they did it wrong. The Scout can log into my.scouting.org and look at the BSA Number on the main page. If that does not match the number on the unit roster that is the issue.

You can post both numbers, and we can look.

@JamieDunn1 It looks like the DOB is different between the two member ID numbers.

@JamieDunn1 I have merged the Scoutbook accounts.

I would recommend waiting a few minutes, then ask the Scout to log all the way out, then log back in again.

@JamieDunn1 I would also recommend having the family double-check the Scout’s date of birth. If it needs to be corrected, the local council can fix it with their Registrar Tools.
