Get error when trying to remove a scout from a patrol

I get the following error when I try to remove a scout from a patrol

What is the process you’re using to remove the scout? Typically, I “move” the scout by adding them to the new patrol, rather than removing them from the first patrol, then adding them to the new patrol.

Thanks for the reply. I was trying to delete the scout from a patrol. I tried your method and

it works. But there is one scout who is in a patrol that is quitting scouting. I can’t seem to delete him from the patrol. Do I need to create another patrol, for scouts that are no longer in scouts ?

What is the Scouting America Member ID (no names) of the Scout that generates the error? You should be able to remove any Scout from a patrol.

We have an Alumni patrol where we put any Scouts that are dropping for whatever reason (age out, not renewing, moving, etc.). This keeps them from the Scouts Not In A Patrol section.

Thanks. Your solution worked. It looks like you can’t delete a scout from one patrol until they are listed in another patrol.
