Getting SPL the access to add Calendar Events and Send Messages to Scouts and Parents

I’m wondering whether a Scout designated as SPL can send messages and add calendar invites to a Troop calendar. If not, what permissions would he need to have? Can a Scout be granted Troop Admin priveleges?

There is specifically a calendar editing permission for youth.

Amazing! I don’t have admin access at the Troop yet. Follow up questions:

  1. Do you know what that permission is?
  2. Does it get added in Scoutbook+, Scoutbook Legacy, or my.scouting?

It’s done in SB+, under the Permissions Manager on the left side menu. It’s called “Calendar (Permissions Assignable to Youth)” under the Assign Permission tab.

@SherifFahmy1 - just as an awareness the role of unit admin no longer exists.
