Guidelines for parent involvement at the Tiger level

My understanding at the Lion and Tiger level is that an adult partner must attend and (hopefully) participate every scout event (den meetings, pack meetings, activities). So no “drop offs”.

Does anyone have the documentation to support this?

“participation with an adult partner is required for all Tiger awards”

“Den chiefs can work with those in Cub Scouting ranks: Bears, Wolves and Webelos. Lions and Tigers do not have den chiefs. Since an adult partner is required, the den chiefs are reserved for the older ranks.”

I would have your committee clarify it for the unit

Thank you for that! It’s a big help!

As the previous Lion Den Leader and current Tiger Den Leader, this is something I reiterate to my parents all the time.
