I’m the committee chair and I’m trying to link the parent (member# 141670319) to the scout (member# 14494740). I added the connection in Scoutbook but it looks like it’s waiting for verification. The parent is getting error “No Scoutbook Plus Access” when trying to access the scout. Parent says they didn’t receive an email to verify the scout. Asked our Council for help but it’s been a month with no response. Any suggestions on how to proceed?
@EricGunderson1- you have to add parents in advancements.scouting.org
I added the parent in advancements.scouting.org, by going to the scout in the roster and adding the parent relationship to the scout.
It now shows the parent name with “(Initiated)” and then member number.
I’m still looking for help, with getting a parent added as a parent to a scout.
@EricGunderson1 if it says Initiated - then the parent should have received an email that they need to click a link in to verify the relationship

Yes, I agree, but the parent says they didn’t receive the email and it’s been over a month at this point. So I’m not sure how to proceed.
@EricGunderson1 I would click the Chevron by Invite and Delete it - then try again.
It MAY be under a different email - you could post Member # from the invite and we can check
Thanks! Deleting the relationship and inviting the parent again seems to work.
