We had a boys and girls troop until we merged into a family troop in April. We want to go back and add some missing scout leadership positions from before the merge but the girls troop doesn’t seem to exist anymore. It only lets us add job from the merger forward.

We want to add jobs she did from 2023 and 2024 and 2025 please. The old girls troop was Troop 4175 in Orlando.
@AndrewBarras you do not - you can just make the positions for the new troop.
Thanks so much for your reply! The troop currently only goes back until April of this year. We merged two troops into one family troop which is 7175. We did try to add these positions for the new unit but get this error when we try to enter dates before April of this year:
Error: User with not current registered position - userid: 12935491
and this is for scout 14827678?
No this is for scout 12935491.
That is the Scoutbook # - what is the member # of the scout?

I have several to do, and none worked. Try Instructor, Start Date: 10/14/25 End Date: 4/14/26. Approved was checked.

Yes they were in the old unit at that time. That’s the problem. Perhaps we need a unit selector on that add position screen? It seems to default to the current unit. I can also provide a list of positions and dates if you want to just pop it into the database directly (I used to web and database stuff).
The SUAC does not have write access to the DB.
Ok cool, just thinking out loud. This scout doesn’t have much time before they age out and are close to Eagle. We’re trying to make sure all of her paperwork is in order. What is the next step?
Council can deal with Leadership positions when needed
@AndrewBarras - the main concern are Positions of Responsibility while a life scout. So anything after the Life rank BOR is what is looked at.
Well I am not sure what the Eagle Verification tool checks @Stephen_Hornak - but council can solve the issue as they have to for Troopmaster scouts and other non-scoutbook scouts all the time.
Just enter the info on the Eagle Application and turn it in

Council Registrars are used to adding the positions ever since the Eagle tool was changed last year or so
