I was trying to remove an account that I made from the mobile app that was not connected to my child. I deleted the account but I think it was somehow attached to my working account that is connected to my child AND where I am a Den Leader.
Is there a way I can reverse the deletion on my main. I don’t care for the other (I think it was generated from gmail credentials).
I lost access to the connected my.scouting account as well.

@NicholasGuman what actions did you take that you think you deleted an account?
@NicholasGuman I think your best course of action is going to be to go to my.scouting.org and on the left side of login page create a new user - use full name not nickname - if you need bsa # it is 140414670
On the android mobile app:
- gear button on the account page
- Under Account Settings, “Delete My Account”
- “Delete My Account” Confirm
oh that dumb thing - it is something Apple and Google require
I was just auto piloting through it while talking with some one and I was thinking it would remove the account from the phone app only. Also, didn’t think it was connected to my other account since I am unable to connect to my child.
well lets first get the login setup and move from there
Little confused how you logged into the forums
I believe I am still working off of my previous authentication. I am also still in scoutbook on another tab for the time being
With the everything before the @ of email username? @NicholasGuman
see that delete kills the username not the account - so you need a new one with the instructions I gave
Ok I just create an account again in my.scouting
OK - now do this - Log out of SB > log back in > go to My Connections > up at top there is red text saying if a parent you can make a connection - click that to add your scout
@NicholasGuman I added your Youth MIB (BSA#) to your user name as NON-Primary just for your record - can see at my.scouting > manage Member ID
I recommend that you contact your local council and ask them to use the Registrar Tools to look up your children. When they look up your children, they want to check your children’s “User Relationship” and make sure that your children are connected to you as parent with Only your correct BSA member ID number
Thanks,
So it should be connectd to my current membership number not my old membership number?
Also, I am back in and it looks like it did before I made the mistake
yes the PRIMARY MID is the way you are identified and attached to your CURRENT ACTIVE registrations
