I’m brand new Scouting and to the Advancement Coordinator position. I noticed that there are 500+ items in the “To Award” section in Advancements. The up to date data has been maintained in TroopWebHost. I’m trying to figure out the best way to clear the “To Award” section in Scoutbook Plus. I don’t want to look up all those items in both systems to figure out the Award date. My hope was to export a file with the Award Date populated and import it into Scoutbook Plus. A test of one line item failed. The line item remained in the To Award section of Scoutbook Plus. I reached out to TroopWebHost and was told Scoutbook Plus ignores Award dates.
How do I update the information without it taking days of my time? Does the exact date matter in Scoutbook Plus? Some items are going back several years.

@GabrielPerez4 The Awarded Date is just an audit date for your troop’s internal use.
If you know that everything has been presented to the Scouts, you can mark them all as Awarded.
Unfortunately, I don’t know. To be certain, I would have to look up each one with the entries in Troopwebhost.
Let’s say I do set them all to Awarded in Scoutbook Plus. If later I find a few in Troopwebhost that were not awarded. Could I change the status in Scoutbook Plus? If not, does it even matter since we are tracking in Troopwebhost?

@GabrielPerez4 - can you not run a report in TWH that shows what has been awarded… if not that is a problem. If you marked everything as awarded you can certainly go back and uncheck the awarded on those that it turns out had not been awarded as yet.
@stephen_Hornak Yes, I’ve done that. The problem occurs when I import the file to Scoutbook Plus. The status does not change to “awarded”. It seems like the Awarded date is ignored. TWH support staff stated that it has been a known problem for a long time.
I’ve decided to set each item to “awarded” manually and move on.
