Why is the email showing up as [changeyouremail@scoutbook.com](mailto:changeyouremail@scoutbook.com) when the correct email is entered in [my.scouting.org](http://my.scouting.org)? How do we change it? It isn’t working to go into scoutbook and simply make the change. It says that there is already that email in the system. ---

@RaquelShumway This is an indication that the e-mail is tied to another account in Scoutbook. Scoutbook requires every account to have a unique e-mail address while [my.scouting.org](http://my.scouting.org) does not. Is this an e-mail address that is shared within a family? If not, then it is most likely a case where the user has 2 accounts in Scoutbook. If the e-mail address is valid and only used by 1 individual, you will need to contact [scoutbook.support@scouting.org](mailto:scoutbook.support@scouting.org) with name, BSA#, council and unit and ask them to search for duplicate accounts or the account with the duplicate e-mail address. ---
