You dread to see consessions in the trail to eagle because bsa now admits females? That is sexist and offensive and has no place in bsa.
There are two groups of people that need IOLS. The first group is new leaders that have limited experience with the BSA. The other group is people is former Scouts that don’t have any recent experience and have a ton of unlearning to do.
Your comments make me think you fall into the later group, and I strongly encourage you to drop the negative attitude, take IOLS, and refresh/reenergize your interest in working with youth.
If you aren’t up to that challenge, and you really believe the sexist stuff you posted, there’s nobody forcing you to identify yourself as an Eagle Scout…
