I don’t believe I’ve ever seen anything around that in training, but I was told all emails from adult to adult need to with bcc only. Is this true? If so, can someone cite the policy? Thanks in advance
There is no BSA policy to use BCC on e-mails. The default in Scoutbook is to turn on BCC so that youth e-mail addresses are hidden, but it can be turned off at any time.
Guide to Safe Scouting only says to maintain no one on one in electronic communications. In my troop I tell scouts to include their parent(s) in any communication to me.
