Is there a way to send calendar reminders to primary AND secondary emails on an account?

Most of our Scouts have only one parent registered in Scoutbook. Our Pack is moving toward using Scoutbook for communication vs. email. When I send a calendar reminder out, it only goes to the primary email on my account…e.g. I have my wife’s email in there as a secondary, but she doesn’t get the calendar reminders. Is there a way to enable this, or would she have to create her own Scoutbook account if she wants to receive the reminders?

Your wife needs to get her own my.scouting.org account then connect her as a Parent/Guardian in Scoutbook.

So that either parent can renew the Scout, your Council would need to use the Relationships tab of Registrar Tools to connect your Scout and your wife once she has a Scouting America Member ID.

Ok, thanks for the quick response…that’s frustrating. What is the intent of the secondary email if it doesn’t…receive emails?

Frankly we don’t know. It is a leftover from when Scouting America first bought Scoutbook.
