I am trying to help someone with their account. They can log in to my.scouting with no issue. But when they try to log into Scoutbook using the same credentials, it tells them to use their my.scouting email and password. Can someone explain why this is happening to her?
She should be logging in with her my.scouitng.org ID that is (Firstname)(LastInitial)(MM)(DD) where MM is her month of birth and DD is her day of birth.
Her address in Scoutbook mismatches that in Akela, the BSA’s person database. Once she logs in to Scoutbook, she should go to My Account → My Profile and correct the address if it is wrong or click SAVE if it is correct. This will push the correct address to all databases.
