What is going on this morning? I am getting messages from families that have received dozens of emails for events that happened in January, February and March so far and they are still going out.
@ChrisRamsey what is the Unit (like Troop 34, Council Longhorn.). And what is the name/date of one of the events?
This is also happening to us. Two of my Pinewood Derby emails from early this year just got resent to the whole pack. This is causing lots of confusion.
Same, I just got an email that I sent to the Pack back in April. What is going on? I hope that is the only one that get resent.
As stated - give examples - Pack 444, Council, Pinewood, date 3/2/25 - we have to have this info to even begin to investigate
Same thing with our unit (Pack 290, Middle TN Council) - random emails from spring are being resent to our whole unit.
Original email dates- Feb 3 and March 23
Once again - we need Unit, Council, Title of calendar event, and the Date of the event - to investigate
Are these Calendar automatic emails or Messages emails?
The easiest way to find example is to find emails that were sent by my account.
Pack 586, Atlanta / Candler Park
Subject: Pinewood Derby Check In Day - Friday 5:00PM - 7:00PM
Original received: 2/2/2026 9:46AM
Received again: 9/24/2026 9:46AM
These are messages sent through the messaging platform, not events that are set up to automatically notify.
OK that is what I was starting to wonder
@CameronChildress you know how to view the Raw Source of an email? if so I will setup a private message to get more data
Troop 106, Sam Houston Council, January 26, 2026 Court of Honor is one of the many emails that has been reported. It seems like a mix of calendar notifications and messages but all of them from January through April
Who can forward an email to me to see - or who can go to email program > View > Message > Raw Source. If you can I will setup a Private message to get you an email or get the raw source from you
You and I are on the same page. I have email headers ready to send you. I don’t see how to start up a private message with you, but send me one and I’ll shoot over the headers for you.
I will send you a direct message > look at top right Avatar to find it > it will be a green envelope > it will be a private message channel with select members of the Scoutbook User Advisory Council (SUAC)
Pack 136, Patriots Path Council. Numerous calendar reminders have gone out from events that occurred in March-June. Not everyone is getting all of the reminders to every event, but everyone has gotten something. Here’s one:
Event: No Plans Tomorrow Night? Come Skating!
Calendar: Pack 0136 FP
When: 04-02-2026 06:00 PM EDT to 04-02-2026 08:00 PM EDT
Happy to forward what I received if helpful. They’re coming through as Calendar event reminders. Worth noting that our reminders end before the event, and we haven’t touched them since. It’s like a new reminder got added somehow to make it send today.
Our Troop just received two prior event emails as well.

I too just received a duplicate email that was originally sent weeks prior. I was excited to try out the messaging feature, but perhaps all the bugs are not worked out yet? The original message was sent on August 28, and now resent on September 24th.
Once you use the messaging feature, is there a way to view your sent messages?
Thanks for your consideration.
