I am an ASM and MBC. Scout has requested sign off for camping nights completed as they relate to Camping MB. I either lack permissions are do not know where to find the online camping log under the current release of the site. Can you guide me?
@DavidBackus - are you an ASM in the same unit as the scout ? If you are just an MBC outside of the scout’s unit then that is something you would not have access to.
@DavidBackus in 1218G - you would make sure you are signed in at top drop down at SB+ - to the 1218 ASM position - then click on a scout in roster and you can get to their logs
Got it - thanks. The visibility rules being governed by a role selection was not intuitive to the casual site user. I have 4 roles in the top right of the screen and after selecting the ASM role, I can now view the camping log.
FEATURE REQUEST - camping merit badge instructor should legitimately have access to an assigned scout’s camping log.
@DavidBackus - not sure if they are going to open access to a scout’s log if not in your unit. You could ask the scout to provide you a copy of their log report
