Multiple Scouting Login and Scout not linked to both adults

Hello,

We have been trying to get my son renewed since December, prior to his membership lasping. After talking with our membership coordinator at the troop and our district representative, we have found that my son is tied to another account of my husbands that we currently can’t access and I am not linked to him at all. It shows us as linked in Legacy Scoutbook, but not SB Plus. I tried to do it, but I don’t have permissions to link to him in SB Plus.

Can you please help

  1. Migrate my husband, (removed by Moderator) to 1 account. I tried in the my.scouting under manage profile, but I received error “The provided Member ID does not match the existing user profile.”

Current Leadership BSA#: (removed by Moderator) (For some reason under nickname (removed by Moderator) instead of full name)

BSA# signed son up with: (removed by Moderator)

Original Eagle BSA# (removed by Moderator)

J. (removed by Moderator) is my son. His member #(removed by Moderator) and BSA# is (removed by Moderator)

My name is (removed by Moderator) and member ID is (removed by Moderator)

Can you please help us so that we don’t lose his scout history.

Thank you!

E. (removed by Moderator)

On relationships only the parent with a relationship, the Key 3 of the Unit, or the council can resolve. They just need to make a relationship to the correct account. There is VERY little reason to even look at Legacy SB anymore.

@AlexFannin Try asking your husband to log in to his my.Scouting account again. Have him go to Manage Member ID and switch to the member ID (MID) number that ends in -925. He should be able to renew the Scout’s membership. Then change the MID back to his primary, the one that ends in -732.

Then ask him to please contact your local council and ask them to use their Registrar Tools to move his parent “Relationship” from his secondary MID to his primary. And also to add you as a parent.

@AlexFannin The local council can also update your husband’s name.
