Sorry for a duplicate topic, the “Me Too” option was greyed out.
I have two scouts not showing up in Scoutbook Plus (142551561 and 142379007). One of them joined several weeks ago and one yesterday. Interestingly 142551586 and 142551561 joined at the same time, so I’m not sure why one is in SB+ and the other isn’t. The system also seems to have auto-assign 142551586 to a Wolf den, even though they are in Kindergarten. When I attempt to change this I receive an error message: “Pack Admin position(153) not given for Unit ID 87074”. As the committee chair, I checked the permissions manager and have permissions across the board, so I’m not sure what’s going on.
The only thing I see linking all there youth is that the my.scouting roster does not show a grade for them; though all of their applications listed Kindergarten.
@JonathanZitelman - just a bit of information on this scoutbook has never auto assigned dens. That is entirely up to the unit. Additionally, pack admin is a no longer valid position as that was legacy
Understood, that’s the error that shows on screen though.
@JonathanZitelman - have you reset the filter in the roster view ?
That fixed it… sorry for the ignorance on my part!
@JonathanZitelman both 142551561 and 142379007 are in SB - I would go to roster > filter > click RESET no matter what shows
@JonathanZitelman - how are you trying to move the scout out of the wolf den ? I want to make sure that you are using advancement.scouting.org and not legacy and edit den in scoutbook plus.
To change a den - a unit leader goes to SB+ >Roster > Edit Den > Edit the den you want the scout to be IN > add the scout to that den.
I was doing everything in SB+, not legacy. Initially I was trying to remove the scout out of the Wold den by editing the Wolf den. This should have left them unassigned, they same that happens when you delete a den; instead it gave me the error.
Once I adjusted filters and could see all the scouts, I created the new Lion den and added everyone all at once.
