I have a scout parent (136382404) that had a wrong email address. I went to invite her to her scout (136382403) with her updated email, but I can’t break their connection to send the invite. Would you be able to do this for me so I can get her connected with her scout?
Thank you!
@BonnieBrenner- are you doing this in legacy scoutbook.. if so that is NOT the place to manage parent relationships. They need to be managed in advancements.scouting.org
I changed her email in Scoutbook Plus. But trying to get her signed in in both. The email that was on file was (removed by moderator). I am trying to ultimately get her access. So was hoping I could connect them in Scoutbook by sending the invite.
@BonnieBrenner- there is no more invite and there is little reason to use legacy scoutbook. Are they able to log into my.scouting.org ?
@BonnieBrenner they are in relationship but the relationships are messed up - talk to council - she is Father of the Scout and Son of the Scout. Council needs to clean the relationships up
I don’t know. I can try to help her. Up until last night, I don’t think she even knew she could follow her scout’s journey. I was hoping to use the invite because it would be easy for her to follow.
She is in as mother of the scout, but I changed the email that was associated with her. So I was trying to get her connected in an easier pathway. She is an older lady that is no where near tech savvy, so I was trying my best to help her as easy as possible.
@BonnieBrenner- there are only two reasons to be in scoutbook.scouting.org - pay logs and MBC work…
@BonnieBrenner the user has a login she can use - her Gmail is her username - as said before - talk to council so they can clean up the relationships as a start.
