Need help reverting change- Scouting Distinguished Conservation Service Award (Scouts BSA)

Hi,

I am an advancement chair and by mistakenly seem to have approved “Scouting Distinguished Conservation Service Award (Scouts BSA)” Award for a scout and cannot revert it back. Can you please help revert the award for ID: 135757351.

You should be able to just remove the completion date for the award since it has not been approved by the Council.

It looks like the screenshot is incomplete. There should be an overall date for the award on the left below the description. Removing that date should resolve the issue.

@RaviNalla - I suspect what will have to happen is to remove requirements that were not actually completed.

I’m having this same issue. I can’t remove any dates either. Was this ever resolved?

Yes, but none of the requirements can have the date deleted because they are tied to a merit badge.

There was an update on September 10th that the quick entry button can revert awards back to start. I tried to apply this to the Scouting Distinguished Service Award, but it wouldn’t work because the items marked as completed separately were merit badges that are completed. The projects weren’t marked as completed, so I can’t revert them back.

I need to be able to remove the overall complete.

Can anyone reach out regarding this or will there be another update/fix?

The individual requirements weren’t marked as completed, so I can’t revert them.

If the September 10th update wasn’t supposed to address this, ok, but if it was, then its not quite working.

On this the MBs are still hotlinked (which they should not be) and it is messed up.

The merit badges are correct, he is a very overacheiving scout. The words in blue on the left say that all editing is disabled. I just need someone to uncomplete it as it was done by someone else in error.

@VickiRutherford - I would suggest asking the registrar to see if they can remove the completion
