@HeatherKlekar

This is a known issue.

What do I need to do to get this fixed then? And thank you in advance for any help.

@HeatherKlekar it is being investigated - Scouting America IT does not release schedules. Watch the Scoutbook - Scoutbook Plus Change Log - Scouting Forums for an announcement of the fix.

thank you. I will keep an eye out for it.

I am having the same issue with being able to message, click or select certain leaders and parents within the troop. I am the Committee Chair and have submitted a ticket to council to submit a ticket to national. Replying to thread to keep it active. Thank you.

There is no need to keep the thread active. This is a known issue.

@here Please try this again for us

I had one message this morning that still had the bug. I did a different message this afternoon, and the ones that failed earlier in the day were selectable this time. I have not checked with the recipients to see if they actually received the message.

Thank you! It is all fixed now. Thank you Donovan for being so helpful and “user friendly”.

All fixed on my end! :tada: THANK YOU, developers!!

The original problem was fixed, but now I have a different problem that I didn’t have before and I think it must be related. My venturing participants (18-20 year olds) aren’t on the messaging recipient lists, not as adults or youth.

@ChristineMcDanal

Thanks. We will get this reported.

This seemed to be fixed with 8/4 update announcement, but the issue seems to be back again. Unable to select certain adult leaders when messaging, including the Scoutmaster and some (but not all) ASMs. Has this bug regressed and/or is the issue continued to be worked on?

@JamesCuomo

We reported this yesterday.

Bug has returned for us as well.

Same issue here. Permissions are correct, emails exist, it is a bug that needs to be addressed.

Same exact issue. Including those leaders who have no kids in the unit and are listed as children instead of leaders but he council end is correct. No rhyme of reason why this is happening.

As noted, the issue has been reported again. Watch the change logs for release of the new fix.

bug came back to us too. These poor developers must have so many headaches with this buggie.

With the latest bug fix update this morning, we are now kindof able to e-mail our affected adult leaders again. YAY! But FYI we do get a “you have selected a youth” message when selecting any of them. So it’s better, but not completely fixed. To clarify, this is happening with the same 9 (out of about 40) adult leaders in our troop as I first mentioned, and the only thing I can see that they all have in common is that these 9 people (and ONLY these 9) have “create messages” listed as a separate “role” in permissions manager.
