# Old "scoutbook . com" link name is not secure

- It defaults to non-secure connection link address [http://scoutbook.com](http://scoutbook.com) on most web browsers.

- The redirection to new link [https://scoutbook.scouting.org](https://scoutbook.scouting.org) may not be secure.

- NOTE: [https://scoutbook.com](https://scoutbook.com) times out

[scoutbook.com](http://scoutbook.com) should not be used. The correct URL is [https://scoutbook.scouting.org](https://scoutbook.scouting.org). If you want a change made in this area, you will need to get your Council to open a ticket. There is nothing further the SUAC can do to encourage a change here.
