First, I’m not sure why the “pay” button goes away sometimes. My question is why do some transactions show as paid and others look unpaid? Before the most recent charge his balance was zero so I would expect them all to be marked paid.
@AndrewBradley - what does this look like in advancements.scouting.org. From the scout page there under the log section is run report which will report on transactions for that scout. As far as the paid status… my first inclination is that unless money received from the scout is NOT being tagged directly to a transaction from the unit the transaction will show unpaid. The balance is just that .. the running total of debits and credits. Basic booking stuff here.

As far as linking payments to charged the site sucks at that. All you can do is link them to the same event, but people might be paying you for 2-3 events. As, far as i remember on the old site, it also didn’t limit the events to just ones the scouts had a charge for either. I’ll have to play with the new site.

That also existed in legacy and you may find that many of your transactions are applied to unassigned.
I also recommended that you click on run report from the scout page to get the payment log which will show what the tags/apply to are for transactions
