Welcome! This forum has a treasure trove of great info – Scouters helping Scouters! Just a heads up, though - all content, information, and opinions shared on this forum are those of the author, not the BSA.
I had a parent who, in Legacy SB, showed a pending connection, so I resent the invite a few days ago. That same day, she accepted the invitation and said she could see both of her kids, one in the Pack and one in the Troop in SB.
This morning, I was scanning the roster in the Troop, and the parent still has the icon showing the connection as “Pending”. I checked in an Incognito window and got the same result. I had the parent check and she can still see both of her Scouts just fine. Is there something else the parent needs to do?
That’s what I would have thought, but I can see that at 3:45 PM Pacific on Wednesday she was seeing her kids in Legacy SB. Isn’t almost 2 days enough time to sync?
This has always been that way. They would have to accept an invite from both units. It is a legacy function from when inviting parents from scoutbook was common. It doesn’t hurt anything to say pending.
