Hi. I am the Committee Chair for my troop. One of my scout’s parent is getting a notification in Scoubook Plus that a relationship verification to his scout (his son) is needed. They are already connected in Scoutbook. This is also blocking the parent from renewing the scout’s membership which is due on 12.31.

@DamonPetite- the connection is scoutbook is meaningless… are they listed in the scout profile in advancements.scouting.org as parent
@DamonPetite the Parent has 2 Member IDs/#s. They have them managed under Manage Member ID - BUT the Parent relationship is just on one of the Member IDs. Either Council can solve this, or a Unit Key 3 can add relationship under SB+ > Scout Profile > Add Relationship
How do I find the second member ID? I am the Committee Chair, so I can add the relationship.
The second number already has a relationship - you can add it to the 7669 one
How can I tell? To create a relationship, the UX uses the Scouting ID, not the Membership ID. I can’t tell which Membership ID is connected.
@DamonPetite- scouting id and member id are the same thing. I would think if you click on that parent in scoutbook plus you should see the member id
They are not the same thing.
The relationship search wants the Scouting America Member ID.
@DamonPetite as stated before - you can add the relationship to 141677669 - that is the number you search for
The relationship is under the Member ID of 7669. I thought you said there were two member ID’s? The only one I see in SB+ and Scouting.org is the 7669 one. Thanks.

The relationship is NOT under that MemberID - the relationship is under 110317680 - that is why you do not see it

@DamonPetite are you looking at Legacy Scoutbook or Scoutbook+? This has to be done in Scoutbook+ - advancements.scouting.org
I am using ScoutbookPlus
Also - it may be helpful to align on labels at some point. The profile on SB+ list a “SB User ID” and a “Member ID”. When adding a parent relationship, it ask for a “Known Scouting Account ID” - which I guess is the “Member ID”? It’s a bit confusing.
