Parents are not showing up in Attendance Report

I pull up the Attendance Report quarterly to report the Troop’s numbers to our sponsored organization. I have never had an issue in the past 5 years that I have done this. I pull up the report tonight to send the details like normal and all of the parents who are not registered do not show up. I need their attendance details to report their hours and mileage for the events. Please help me figure this out.

I am the Scoutmaster for the troop.

Do you mean Attendance report or Activities report? @JeffreySilva

If it is Activities - the Quick Activities Summary Report has parents I believe

And I imagine it now only shows parents in Real Relationships with the Scout - not fake ones from Legacy SB.

Yes I mean attendance reports. All the parents connected, do not show up at all. The only adults that show up are the leaders. Parents attend activities like courts of honor and parent committee meetings , and they’re not showing up at all

When I pulled up this report three months ago , all the parents showed up , even if they didn’t attend a court of honor

If connected parents can be attached to an event, rsvp to that event, be marked as in attendance to the event, then they should show on the report for that event. That is the problem that i am having

@JeffreySilva for an example:

  1. what is the date of an event
  2. Member ID of a Parent not showing that was marked in attendance

May 26,2026 - City of Honor

Parent id

12427090 - REMOVED

140996508 - REMOVED

@JeffreySilva

140996508 is mother of a scout but the scout is not registered in any unit?

What unit is the City of Honor event for?

listing all parents would be lot and really diminish the usefulness of the report? are you just looking for a % of attendance?

The scouts id is 140996509 (1 number difference) and is currently registered. The unit is 1015 Family Troop

They were all listed before. They changed the output of the same report in the past 3 months. About April 5th,I pulled up the same report and all parents showed up plus the leaders. Now only the leaders show up

I’m reporting to the CO:

Number of scouts

number of adults

Total Elks and mileage/ hours

Total non Elks and mileage/ hours

So yes it is necessary to have the parents on the report

@JeffreySilva - I am trying to understand why the charter org would need data on non-registered folks. I do not follow the mileage need.

I don’t know about this particular use case, but some units reimburse mileage for drivers. Many COs have to track/report that outlay in their financials. I can see a use case, but not 100% certain tracking in SB+ is the best way to do that.

Of course, I tend to agree with the premise that if you can mark attendance, you should be able to report on that attendance.

@JeffreySilva try again please - I do not have a great test myself

@JeffreySilva - i can confirm that parents are listed now on the attendance report

It is showing up now. Thank you!

I am curious, what needed to be fixed?

Parents in reports were switched from the old SB Parent Connections to the AKELA Relationships in reports - and it messed some up. Just so many reports, some parent issues slipped through on reports looked at less
