In the future, I hope Scoutbook Plus will have the ability to create distribution lists beyond patrols. Such as PLC, ASMs, Committee, etc. In the meantime my work around for the PLC would be to create a separate patrol for the PLC. Will I mess up anything in Scoutbook Plus by having some Scouts in two Patrols? I don’t think so but wanted to double check.
There is a dist list story in the backlog. We do not know if or when it will be scheduled for development.
I don’t believe Scouts can be in multiple patrols in the same unit.
I do believe a scout can be in 2 patrols - that is how we facilitate Troop Guides. You could make a PLC patrol and add scouts to it, then they are in 2 patrols - that can get a little messy and you have to be very diligent in management.
