It seems like a couple months ago a change was made to single sign in. I used to go to My.Scouting and log in - then I could click to Scoutbook + or Scoutbook and was already logged in. Now If I log into My.Scouting I also have to log into Scoutbook+ (again). PLEASE go back to a single log in. ALSO - since you kind of need to have My.Scouting, Scoutbook+ and Scoutbook all running in order to do stuff - can you please adjust the automatic timeout from 30 minutes or so now to 2 hours or more. If I don’t constantly refresh all 3 windows they will log me out and stuff like reports, advancement, etc stops working.
I am running Windows 10, fully updated, Dell PC 12G ram, Chrome fully updated. I have tried all the clear cache/ restart chrome / reboot PC / run incognito etc with no changes to the bahavior.
Thanks

We can submit another request to get the logins working across systems again but I suspect there is already an item in the backlog to fix this.
As for the timeout, Scouting America security has previously stated that 30 minutes is the most they are willing to allow idle sessions to remain open. The way I get around this is to only keep 1 tab open for Scoutbook, Scoutbook Plus or my.scouting.org. This way I’m not impacted by an idle tab logging me out.
OK - I understand what you are saying about the idle tabs. However, when you are in scoutbook there are more and more functions like scout info or reports that loop you back to scoutbook plus so you need both to work at the same time. Right now I will be clicking and typing away in Scoutbook and Scoutbook plus will log me out - effectively it has logged me out of an active session. Not 30 minutes of inactivity - but an ACTIVE session. So I suggest you need to 1) fix the technical flaw or architectural flaw that does not allow Scoutbook and Scoutbook plus to see each others “activity” such that they both stay logged in. OR 2) extend the timeout from 30 minutes so that you are not logging me out of an ACTIVE session. Sorry I probably did not explain well in my original post that fixing item 1) is likely hard so item 2) is the workaround to keep from logging me out of an active session.
@ShawnWeck
The issue of having to login multiple times when switching between Scoutbook Plus, Scoutbook and my.scouting.org should be fixed. The developers are still working on the timeout issue.

I can confirm the SSO carryover from Scoutbook/Scoutbook+/my.scouting.org is NOT fixed. I have to click 18 times to get logged in on an iMac between all the sessions. At least on my iPhone I can use FaceID and it saves a few taps.
Ironically, the forums page signon still works. I only need to refresh the tab and it logs me in.
I do see something has changed - a couple times when I logged in to MY.Scouting it then allowed me to click into Scoutbook + WITHOUT logging in again. However, a couple times it forced me to log in twice - so clearly some changes made but not fully fixed. THANKS for working on it - look forward to a better experience soon.
