Welcome! This forum has a treasure trove of great info – Scouters helping Scouters! Just a heads up, though - all content, information, and opinions shared on this forum are those of the author, not the BSA.
Trying to reconcile recharter and came across a leader that inadvertently created a second BSA # when she registered her son with the pack. She should be a den leader in pack but it wont let us select a position because of the ID# discrepancy. She was already committee member in both troops.
User needs to log into my.scouting.org > click Menu top left > Click Manage Member ID > one of the BSA # will be there marked PRIMARY > then add the other MID (BSA #) - you want to make the one that is your unit registration PRIMARY > All training merges to PRIMARY MID > If there are registered positions on a MID that one should probably be Primary
Hello - I am having issues with my own personal scout account. I got married and tried to update my name, which caused all kinds of issues. I currently have two accounts in Scoutbook, but only one is recognized in the MyScouting.org system.
The correct up-to-date account is #133096304, under Angie Bergeron Berkey.
I would like to delete (or merge into the other account) account #1334466682, Angie Berkey Boget.
I’m not sure if this is the right forum to ask. My son (6 year old Tiger) transferred from the Far East Council to the Greater Tampa Bay Council. The Tampa Bay Council created a new profile for him. He now has two scoutbook accounts. His Far East Council account has all of his achievements and advancements. His Greater Tampa Bay Council account is a blank slate.
Is it possible to merge the two accounts, the Far East Council account to the Greater Tampa Bay account, and import all of his achievements? End result would be one scoutbook account with all of his achievements in the Greater Tampa Bay Council, Pack 56.
His scoutbook User ID’s are:
11669936 (Far East Council. All of his achievements)
12902328 (Tampa Bay Council)
